Contractor's Choice Enamel Semi Gloss
DESCRIPTION
A quality interior and sheltered exterior enamel suitable for trim work, furniture and walls, ceilings in kitchen and bathroom areas where steam resistant and durability is required.
SUITABLE PAINTING SURFACES
An excellent price effective interior finish for woodwork, masonry and wet areas such as bathrooms.
GENERAL DATA
Gloss Selection Guide (when viewing at 60º angle to surface)
Approximately 35 – 45% at 60°
Colour: Can be tinted to a wide range of colours from a white base.
Application: Brush, roller or spray. Provide adequate ventilation. Temperature should be above 10ºC. Early exposure to steam, overnight dew, rain or hosing may result in damage or removal of the coating.
Coverage: Approx. 12 – 14 sq. metres per litre.
Thinning: Mineral turpentine in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions.
Drying: Touch dry in 4 hours. Recoat 24 hours on a day of 25ºC and 50% relative humidity, but will be longer in adverse conditions.
Clean Up: Mineral turpentine
SURFACE PREPARATION
Remove grease, oil etc with a commercial paint cleaner. Rinse and allow to dry. Sand undercoat or previously painted surfaces to a smooth finish and dust down. Fill with putty or proprietary filler and spot prime with oil primer.
New Surfaces: One coat Contractors Choice Oil Undercoat (for exterior timber apply one coat of Brinlay Wood Primer). Finish with 2 coats Contractors Choice Semi Gloss Enamel.
Previously painted surfaces: Apply 1 coat of Contractors Choice Oil Undercoat. Finish with 2 coats Contractors Choice Semi Gloss Enamel.
New Metal Surfaces: Clean and remove all rust, grease and oil deposits. Apply one coat Brinlay Zinc Phosphate or Galvanised Acrylic Primer for galvanised surfaces. Finish with 2 coats Contractors Choice Semi Gloss Enamel.
Plasterboard: Apply one coat Brinlay Oil Brick and Plasterboard Sealer or one coat Brinlay 100% Acrylic Primer Sealer Undercoat. Finish with 2 coats Contractors Choice Semi Gloss Enamel.

Flammability: This product is flammable. Store and use away from sources of heat and ignition.
Toxicity: Lead free. Dry film is non-toxic.
