Traditional Acrylic Decking Finish
DESCRIPTION
A long-lasting, low lustre, opaque finish formulated
for direct application on internal or external bare
timber. The timber tones highlight the natural textures
of timber and are ideal when used on decking, fences,
pergolas, gates, garden furniture and trim work. Acrylic
Decking Finish is also available in white and any of
the colours on our chart.
100% Acrylic paints provide tough wearing, flexible
finishes which give long life protection in our harsh
Australian climate.
They have been formulated with a balanced selection
of proven UV filtering pigments and binders as well
as using the latest low splatter technology to give
clean application properties, non-yellowing, maximum
ultra violet protection and having premium mould preventatives
present to aid in the prevention of unsightly mould
and mildew.
SUITABLE PAINTING SURFACES
Timber, masonry, bricks, concrete, fibro, gyprock and building boards.
GENERAL DATA
GLOSS SELECTION GUIDE (when viewing at 60º angle to surface)
Approximately 5 - 8%
APPLICATION: Brush, roller or spray.
Provide adequate ventilation. Temperature should be
above 10ºC. Early exposure to steam, overnight
dew, rain or hosing may result in damage or removal
of the coating.
No primer or undercoat is required on most surfaces,
except for new timber containing tannin-rich deposits
capable of staining the new finishes (particular care
should be taken when using pale colours).
COVERAGE: Approx. 16 sq. metres per litre.
THINNING: Up to 100ml of clean water per litre for spraying or application to very porous surfaces.
DRYING: Touch dry in 30 minutes. Recoat
in 2 hours on a day of 25ºC and 50% relative humidity,
but will be longer in adverse conditions.
CLEAN UP: Water and detergent. Dried
spots can be removed using Methylated Spirits.
FLASH POINT: Non-flammable.
TOXICITY: Acrylic Decking Finish is environmentally friendly, as it is non-toxic, non-hazardous and non-flammable.
